Well I'll be damned, it's been a year since I joined NG already. Time really does fly.

I missed the anniversary by a whole week (it was on the 15th lol), but still. Y'know, happy anniversary to me. Hopefully I am a bit more active next year oops

Remember a few blogs ago I mentioned I got into FNF? Well I still suck at it, but no long after that I decided to make a VB (voicebank) of my own with my voice. Now I'm the one going beep. Well, I actually go 'ri' but you get the joke. It only took me 8 tries to get a decent VB (<-pain)

Anyway, after that I started doing covers of songs from the base game in my free time. It's only recently that I made a cover from a mod song, and even more recently I started sharing these covers—only 2 of them have been shared so far on my tumblr (I haven't shared them here because Idk if I can do that?? I don't wanna get in trouble after all). I still have much to learn but it's been a fun experience so far :]

That said, I've thought of maybe uploading the covers on Youtube as well.... But I'm so new at this, these are humble covers done by a beginner for fun using her own VB, and the videos are rather simple so I'm not sure if people would be interested in watching them. I'm still debating this but suggestions are appreciated (°ー°〃)

So, 2022. A lot has happened this year.

Not to me tho this was my Chill Year.

For starters and the most obvious thing: I moved from Twitter to Newgrounds. Don't get me wrong, I still have my account but I'm no longer gonna upload art there. It's just... I'm tired. Twitter hates artists and I'm tired of dealing with it. It used to be my little hub: people could easily see my other socials there and some of what I made as well. But holy shit dude lmao this was NOT the year of Twitter. So NG is going to become my new hub (wahoo etc).

What else... oh yeah, I made a website earlier this year: Astrale Stella & Co! Like in April or so. It's exactly just that, a site that I use to archive any content I make. After dealing with Wordpress's outdated ass for so long, hoarding folders and google docs, it feels good to have something cleaner and more organized :]

Uuuh I'm back on Instagram I guess. I'm not fond of the layout, but uh... You see, something I also used Twitter for was to share doodles and WIPs. Since ain't doing that anymore, I've decided to dust off my old IG account and give it a new purpose.

Not much else to say really.... I mean, I travelled to Ireland in September! But I already talked about it here. Great place, had a great time even if I did have to pay an unexpected late visit to the ED lol

So I think that's all. It was a pretty regular year all things considered. We'll meet again next year.

Yomiel here, local bisexual+demigirl that was born on the Spooky Day (October 31st) but in Spain we don't really celebrate that so like just a regular ass day. My real name is a national secret that cannot be revealed unless ya wanna pay a billion euros—jk it's on my website. I fuckin love the Moon and languages and I must learn them all but also I was cursed with Shitty Memory(tm). Not relevant but I'm probably the shortest adult you'll ever meet (why are we still here? just to suffer?? everyday I have to climb the counter to grab a glass).

I also like music. I like it so fucking much that I tried to make my own but DAWs are like alien technology to me. Then I found out about UTAU and I made covers for years, then I stopped and haven't touched it since then but I still like it.

I swear a lot and I'm stupidly long-winded in both languages like I say too many damn words during my speeches and 80% of it are swear words. I used to work in customer service and it was fuckin hell to hold back holy shit.

I'm that one artist that still does self-insert even tho it isn't that popular anymore but it's fun so who cares. I also have too many OCs and concepts related to them but I'm a fuckin perfectionist and rarely share anything (yes I love making content yes I never share it we exist <3). I also tend to delete things on impulse due to my perfectionist ass sometimes being too annoying to the point of depressing me. I'm in a hell of my own making.

I've been told in the past I'm kinda intimidating, but tbh I'm cool with anyone interacting with me as long as you aren't a creep. Like I might sound serious here but I'm actually real shy and I keysmash a lot. Yet I need to be funny all the time or I'll die.

And once more I wrote another long ass speech for a simple blog. I told you I'm wordy.

In a few days it's gonna be my one month anniversary here. Damn. Crazy how fast time flies.

The move has been nice so far. This website is neat, even if sometimes I forget about it for days lol. There's like... a nice vibe here, not sure how to describe it. It has a positive effect on me. Maybe because ain't familiar with nothing nor nobody. All new experiences! Makes me feel the same way I did whenever I checked forums as a kid. Man, how do I miss forums. A lot of communities are in discord nowdays. I like it, but sometimes it feels lonely. Speaking of NG, still getting used to it. It's a neat site as I said, but there's so much NG Culture(?) I still have to learn.

But I'm slowly trying to be more active: shared some of my art (as you probably noticed), bookmarking things (? idk how you call it here), that kinda business. Been thinking about going back to UTAU and sharing the covers here (still debating this). Many cool games here, finally played the funny beep bop one (FNF). I can see why people like it so much. I was informed by friends of the... vast modding community. Dunno if I'll ever play any of the mods—I barely can play the base game on Normal (also lots of drama apparently), but I'm sure they're entertaining as well.

Basically, life goes on. Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to start interacting with others lol
